top of your screen throughout the course.
This course has been developed for Netscape and Internet Explorer browser
versions 4.0 and higher. Using earlier versions of these browsers may
adversely affect the performance of this website. You may download an
updated version of IE or Netscape from the Computer Setup page. Using
AOL as an internet browsers may adversely affect images displayed.
Before registering, you are required to read the registration in its entirety. On
this page you will also be able to select either "Returning User" or "New User."
You will be asked to select the category that applies to your status. If you do
not see an applicable category, please select "other". Please fill out ALL
required fields on the payment form. Incomplete payment forms will result
in your not being able to access the course. The New York State Dental
Association is unable to take registrations for the online course by phone.
NYSDA accepts the following payment options: Visa, MasterCard and
American Express. All transactions are submitted via a secure connection.
Please print the confirmation page for your records.
If you are a member of the New York State Dental Association, you are
required to submit ADA # or your Dental License # at the time of registration.
Once you submit this information, you will receive a payment receipt which
includes a link to create your username and password for the course. Please
be sure to print your receipt and/or write down the course access code.
The link include in the receipt will direct you to the username/password
To login, you need to select a username and password. You will be asked to
reenter your "Class Code" at this time. We suggest that you write down or
print your username and password at this time and save it for the duration of
Welcome - New Users
Once your payment has been processed and you have successfully logged
onto the course, you will be brought to the Welcome page. You are
encouraged to read the details and any messages that may appear on the
Welcome page before selecting your first lesson.
Welcome - Returning Users
Once you successfully login, "Returning Users" will be shown the list of
available lessons. Please select the lesson that you last left off on and continue
to advance from there. The New York State Dental Association utilizes a
tracking software that ensures proper completion of all sections of the course.
If returning users lose or forget your password, you will be able to request
that it be sent to you via email on the login page.
If you try to logon after twelve (12) months from the date you registered, you
will receive a message that your account is now inactive. You will need to
contact the NYS Dental Association at (800) 255-2100, ext. 222.
The New York State Dental Association has included a short assessment at
the end of the course. You will receive access to the exam after completing all
twelve (12) sections of the course. The short exam will require that you
reenter your username and password for security reasons and will require that
you submit your ADA# (if applicable) and your e-mail address. Upon
completion of the exam, your Verification of Course Completion will be
e-mailed to you within 2-3 business days.
